Aeromet recognised by Royal Air Forces association

Earlier this year Aeromet created a set of bespoke hand-crafted cast eagle emblems to help a local branch of the Royal Air Forces Association to celebrate the 100^th anniversary of the RAF.

Last week we were delighted to welcome three senior representatives from the RAFA to Aeromet to present a certificate of thanks to Courtney our apprentice who worked on the project. The certificate was signed by Air Vice Marshall Martin Clark. Courtney was also given a copy of Roger Lumley’s excellent reference book “Fundamentals of Aluminium Metallurgy”.

Rodger Lumley, an ex-professor at Melbourne University joined the party and signed the book adding a personal note she will carry through her career.
