SOPHIA^® is a proprietary process for producing high-strength, thin walled investment castings in standard aluminium alloys – Aeromet is one of only four licensees of SOPHIA^® technology worldwide.  

Our dedicated SOPHIA^® foundry can produce parts with mechanical properties typically 30% higher than conventionally cast parts, opening new design possibilities for complex, thin-walled components up to 1.5m3.  

SOPHIA^® is the investment casting process of choice for aerospace OEMs including Boeing and Embraer.
