Aeromet to supply Boeing's new factory in Sheffield

Boeing have announced that Aeromet are one of six materials suppliers for the new Boeing facility in Sheffield that will be opening in autumn this year.

Aeromet will supply a range of complex cast aluminium components to the facility in a deal that builds upon existing contracts to supply parts to other Boeing facilities around the world for aircraft including the 737, 777 and 787.

Commenting on the news, Aeromet’s Chairman, Vardhan Rajkumar said: “Aeromet are delighted to be supplying complex cast parts to Boeing’s new manufacturing facility in Sheffield. This new contract is an exciting development in our long term relationship with Boeing and is testament to the hard work and dedication of our workforce”.
